Alex Evans graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1999.
Alex works at La Clinique du Sport in the centre of Chamonix. Outside of clinic hours, home or hotel visits are also available.
Alex offers consultations in English and French.
Alex is registered with the General Osteopathic Council in the UK and has permission to practice osteopathy in France from the ARS in Lyon.

Alex has practiced in the UK, New Zealand, Canada and now practicing as an Osteopath in Chamonix, France.
He has a vast portfolio of patients whom he has helped over the last 20 years including X-game athletes, Olympians (members Canadian National Slopestyle team), Pro skiers (TGR, MSP, Salomon TV and SherpasCinema), Pro snowboarders and Pro mountain bikers, Mountain guides, Iron-man competitors and Crossfit-ers in Whistler,BC.
Special Field of Interest
Headaches, migraines and concussions
Alex has a special interest in osteopathic approaches to the management of headaches, migraines and concussions and has worked closely with patients to help manage their symptoms, many whom have been coping with these issues for many years. To further his knowledge in this field he is an active member of Osteopaths for Progress in Headaches and Migraines.
Osteopathy
Alex aims to provide the highest quality osteopathic care to all his patients. He is a friendly, outgoing, caring and compassionate practitioner.
Alex uses osteopathy as a way of detecting and treating injuries in the muscles, ligaments, fascia, nerves and joints of the body. Having a highly-developed sense of touch known as palpation he will gently and specifically, evaluate and treat injuries. As an osteopath, Alex believes that the body has the ability to heal itself and the skilled application of osteopathic techniques (massage, mobilization and soft tissue) can improve this process. He uses a wide variety of osteopathic techniques including structural, visceral and cranial approaches that he adapts to each patient to address their individual needs. Having worked closely with local doctors for his entire career he will refer for further investigation if indicated.
